The Prince George Folkfest is a member of Western Roots Artictic Directors (WRAD).

WRAD is an informal association of western and northern Canadian artistic directors who first got together in 1999 and meet annually to kick out a variety of jams, including shared passions related to the presentation of folk, roots, global, alt, contemporary, traditional electronica and americana music, dance, poetry and performance art in the festival idiom. In addition to collaborative booking discussions, we also discuss sponsorship, advocacy and other common interests.
